GoDaddy and the Toronto Raptors motivated small business owners to ‘shoot their shot’ and realize their dreams. We ran a contest which asked Raptors fans to share their small business stories with us for the chance to see their brand promoted at Scotiabank Arena during a Raptors home game. We showcased the unparalleled opportunities that GoDaddy x Raptors partnership unlocks for business owners and celebrated one lucky fan I and around the venue. The campaign included social content, contest promotions, a landing page and various extensions across OOH and in venue signage.

THE PROBLEM

The majority of Canadians only see GoDaddy as a domain provider, while in fact, GoDaddy is a full-service ecommerce platform.

THE ASK

Shift consumer perceptions to raise awareness of GoDaddy's full-service offerings and website building capabilities.

CREATIVE INSIGHT

In basketball and in business you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. Sometimes just taking this first shot can be the hardest part.

THE IDEA

Shoot Your Shot: A contest that incentivized Raptors fans to share their small business dreams with GoDaddy for the chance to win free promotion of their brand during a Raptors game at Scotiabank Arena.
